Eros – Excerpt & Sale!

Eros, my gay contemporary retelling of Eros and Psyche’s love story, is now on sale at Amazon for .99. If you haven’t read it and want to now’s your chance to get it for half-price.

It goes back to the full price of $1.99 on February 1st.

Check out the blurb and excerpt below. The photos were my inspiration for the story. The blond (my Sy) is David Garrett, the famous violinist, aka one of the most beautiful men ever born. Really. 😉 😉 😉

Eros is the god of love and lust. His only job on Earth is to bring couples together and shoot them with his magical arrows. If he occasionally hooks up with the guys first, what of it? He’s all about the lust thing, but love? Not hardly. Not after all the broken relationships he’s witnessed throughout his long, immortal life.

After four assignments that he nearly blows because he’s quicker to shoot his load than his arrows, Aphrodite gives him a final chance to prove himself. If he fails, he could lose his privileged position among the gods and be eternally banished from the planet he calls home. Confident in his skills, he isn’t overly concerned. That is, until he hooks up with the guy he’s supposed to shoot for his do-or-die assignment. In the eons he’s spent on Earth, he’s never felt this way before. Does he risk losing everything he’s ever known? Or does he fulfill his duty and walk away from the only love he’s ever found?

Excerpt

Still inside him, I bite his neck again and whisper, “Fuck you, you cheating bastard.”

I ease out of his ass and dispose of the condom on the ground. I’m pulling my pants back up when he turns around, his softened cock still exposed. He looks well and truly fucked.

“What are you talking about? Cheating? Who am I cheating on? Man, I’ve known you for a day.”

“Not me, asshole.”

I’m about to tear him a new one but then I remember that he can’t know that I know his story. Thinking fast, I remember the bachelor party.

“Bachelor party mean anything, jerk? You said Aslyn and I were hired for your bachelor party and you mentioned your future bride.”

He jerks his pants up over his hips but doesn’t zip them. He looks uncomfortable.

As he should.

“That party was scheduled a couple of months ago and the guys and I decided to just go with it. Having you part of it was a bonus. Aslyn is a lovely girl, but not exactly my type, if you get my meaning.”

“What’s that supposed to mean?”

“It means that-”

Something clicks in my little brain and I cut him off.

“How did you know I’d be at the bar tonight?”

He looks at me strangely.

“You sent me a text saying to meet you here.”

“No, I didn’t.”

He zips his pants and grabs my arm and shoves me, back first, against the building. He gives me a hard kiss before pulling back.

“Yes, you did. I was shocked that you sent the text after you hung up on me right before.”

“I did not send you a damn text.”

He pulls his phone out of his pocket and after fiddling with it for a few seconds, he shows me the screen. There’s a text message from my phone number telling him that I changed my mind and for him to meet me here. I look up at him.

“I did not send that.”

“Well, it says that you did, and who was I to say no to such a nice request? Granted, I asked you to meet me anyway so it worked out well I’m thinking.” He grabs his crotch.

“You accused me of being an overpriced hooker, dipshit, and then said I wasn’t worth the amount you paid when I’m not a rent boy. I shove him and point at his phone. “I don’t know what that is, but I damn sure didn’t send it.”

He grins.

“Liar. You couldn’t get inside me fast enough.”

“You cock blocked me with the twink. I was horny.”

“Uh huh.”

I check my clothes again and move him out of my personal space. My chest is tingling in ways I could never explain and I know I have to get away from him to try to figure it out.

“I want to see you again.”

“Not an option. You’re getting married and I don’t do the other man thing.”

“I’m not-”

I put my hand over his mouth to cut him off.

“I’m not anybody’s secret plaything.” I pull away. “Have a good life.”

I’m almost to my car in the parking lot when I hear him call out. I glance over my shoulder and he yells, “Sy. That’s my name. You know, for when you’re jacking off later.”

I flip him the bird and keep walking.
